We're #1

It's official.
We've trained and trained. It was an all out effort.
Decades of personal sacrifice was involved as NY stumbled exhausted towards the finish line.
But, in the end, it was all worth it.
We're #1!
ALBANY – We’re No. 1 – in corruption. No other state has more legislators forced out of office by ethical or criminal issues than New York, according to a study released on Monday.

In fact, the state set a national record for the number of lawmakers kicked out, or chased out of office since, 2012, the Center for Public Integrity, a good government group, found in a new study.
Story here.

It's all about keeping your eyes on the prize.

Tamany Hall hasn't gone away. Let's face it, you also can claim Hillary (and her server).

Now, I am going to believe the numbers, for now. However, realize that if another state is even more corrupt? No one will be thrown or chased out. All I am saying is that the potential is there for worse to simply not be as visible. What is amazing, however, is realizing that, even with being kicked and chased out, that they continue as if there wasn't a problem. Is that a generational thing, I wonder to myself? It's like they don't care, one way or the other, because it doesn't really matter. Get kicked out of .gov, just become a .corp sponsor to .gov? Creepy. Then again, does anyone who reads here have any doubt that Tamany Hall ever really got put out of business in NY(C for sure)?

I see a lot of wrongful influence here in Utah even. It's just that there isn't quite as much money to throw around to create the corruption. And there is a bit more of a shame culture. Mostly. Even politicians know, and make some attempt to abide, between right and wrong. Still, it's everywhere. It's not just population, either. Iowa was far worse, nasty for a state that size.

Capt,

As I mentioned, if there was an even more corrupt state, there might well be far fewer prosecutions. So... hold onto you dreams! :p
